I'm really glad that you put this little segment into the strip. It makes me feel so happy to see muslim representation within lgbt comics. Not only that, but I'm going through some faith issues right now too, so seeing how this character deals with her faith issues helps me to feel as though I'm not alone. Smile

I'm going through faith issues too, even though I'm not Muslim. After the massacre in Peshawar and the seige in Sydney, I really felt the need to return to Basanti's own faith journey. I'm grateful I was able to reach you with it!
