I read it more as Irma correcting Sarah and Sarah misunderstanding. She corrected Irma that she was a *girl*friend, not a boyfriend (Irma's misunderstanding), and IIRC specifically told Sarah that she's not transgender.

Well, maybe Ir* likes to hang out whit genderqueer people aniway.
Sometimes i think Sara belives she is the only TG-Girl in the world, and even if not thers only cis- and transgender, nothing between, and everyone lives a steriotype, and sometimes Sarah realy overdid it a bit.
