I don't remember if Wendy's fully accepted Sarah for the girl she is or not, but, either way, it's really sweet to see her use the right pronouns. <3

New art styling is notable on her now. It's amazing how much different she looks.

Also, I think it's fantastic that everyone was totally natural with Sarah's mom actually referring to her as a girl.

It's also interesting that, in the interlude, not only has that come naturally, but it's normal enough that Sarah wasn't even happy about it--she was just upset about the sprouts.

I know it isn't intentional, but it's very fitting--as her mother and her family and her life experience has become more and more accepting of who she is, she's slowly progressed away from being a crude caricature and towards being real person. Yay for accidental symbolism!

She seems a lot happier generally. I expected her to still be upset about losing Irma/Irving as a friend. Maybe Molly is better for her than I originally thought.
